# Export Metadata as Zip

Export the Metadata of your project stored in a Zip file

This function allows you to export the metadata as single .metadata files of your projects tokens **without the placeholders**. The placeholders will be replaced with the exact values of every token.\
This can be very helpful to update your project, like explained in [bulk edit NFTs](https://docs.nmkr.io/nmkr-studio/token/edit-after-mint-reveal#prepare-for-bulk-update-with-sftp).

Access the export via the button in the actions bar of your project.
